This build uses heavy degen to counter the Shadow Form nerf.
Attributes and Skills

Deadly Arts 3 Deadly Paradox Stance All of your attack Skills are disabled for 10 seconds. For 7 seconds, your Assassin Skills activate and recharge 33% faster. Factions Assassin. Shadow Arts 16 Shadow Form Elite Enchantment Spell For 22 seconds, you cannot be the target of enemy Spells, and you gain 5 damage reduction for each Assassin enchantment on you. You cannot deal more than 26 damage with a single skill or attack. EotN No Profession. Asura rank Radiation Field Ward Spell For 5 seconds, foes in the area have -4..6 Health degeneration. When the portal ends, foes in the area are Diseased for 12..20 seconds. Prophecies Elementalist. Fire Magic 12 Meteor Shower Spell Create a Meteor Shower at target foe's location. For 9 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are struck for 91 fire damage and knocked down every 3 seconds. Factions Elementalist. Fire Magic 12 Bed of Coals Spell Create a Bed of Coals at target foe's location. For 5 seconds, foes standing adjacent to target foe are struck for 24 fire damage each second. Any foe knocked down on the Bed of Coals is set on fire for 6 seconds. Factions Assassin. Shadow Arts 16 Viper's Defense Spell All adjacent foes are Poisoned for 21 seconds, and you Shadow Step to a nearby location, directly away from your target. Factions Assassin. Shadow Arts 16 Shadow Refuge Enchantment Spell For 6 seconds, you gain 10 Health regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 104 Health if you are attacking. |
Equipment
- An Asuran rank of 5+ is advisable
- Any armor.
- Radiant Insignias and Runes of Attunement on as many pieces of armor as possible.
- Weapon of Enchanting and +5 energy, such as the Totem Axe and a Fire Magic focus with +15 -1 energy regen and +30hp, like the one of Honglei Sun.
Usage
- Enter Riven Earth from Rata Sum, and take the bounty.
- Go to the Raptor Cave and use the skills 1->2->3.
- Now enter the Raptor Cave and lure as many Raptors as you like.
- Wait for the Raptors to form a close mob, and then cast skills 4->5->6->7.
- Recast Shadow Form.
- Now cast Shadow Refuge and attack the closed raptor for a heal boost, best is Rekoff Broodmother because she will survive the degen.
- If all the raptors are dead collect the drops and rezone.
Counters
- Angorodon standing to near the entrance of the Raptor Cave.
- Failure to recast Shadow Form.
- Getting killed by Rekoff Broodmother before collecting all the loot.
- Not having enough energy.
- Asuran rank not being high enough.
Notes
- You need around 65 energy.
- Don't forget to activate the Asuran Title.
- This build can't kill Rekoff Broodmother.

Optional Skills
- Glyph of Lesser Energy If you have a low Asura rank or are generally low on energy or uncomfortable with the cost of the chain.
- Feigned Neutrality or Death's Charge You will want the option of a heal, whichever you are comfortable with to survive possibly multiple twisting jaws.
- Mindbender or Dark Escape Can speed up the gathering of aggro for a faster run. Mindbender in particular is convenient at high rank because of its higher speed boost and half casting.
This Build may also be used to farm vermin outside Senji's Corner.
