Archive talk:A/any Permaform Tank

From PvXwiki
Jump to: ,

all i did was clean it up btw

Any build that has energy problems as a counter can't be that great-- 09:23, 4 January 2009 (EST)

well it doesn't as long as you use GoLE and aren't spamming deadly paradox or something. i meant not being careful about energy really.

i have perma in FoW before and personally would remove AoE (since movement reduction) and +80 armour+Stone Aura should be enough to keep you alive against inferno and etc. Replace AoE maybe with radiation field or Air of Superiority (not sure if it's benefits affect you since you're tanking)or deathcharge etc 09:32, 4 January 2009 (EST)

go ahead and change if you want

XD i would but i dont know pvx that well ^^ 09:39, 4 January 2009 (EST)

just change the skill name in brackets, like [armor of earth] to [whatever]

Thank you, i actually know how to change stuff now XD :) 10:03, 4 January 2009 (EST)

rate this shit up. used in FoW and DoA --

Could someone post a video or explain how to maintain stoneflesh aura. After casting it with glyph of lesser energy, it runs out and if i cast it again it hurts my energy. -- 00:09, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

You'll often have a BiP on your team. You only need to use stoneflesh if you are taking damage, which is rare, so you don't even need it all the time. --
I'm actually talking more about the solo farming with sliver.-- 00:32, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Ah. It's tough to manage energy after the nerf =/ --
Should probably remove the solo farming part, but I have used sliver armor in a group before to speed things up a little so that is still probably viable. -- 00:46, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

[] Heroes?

Could this be used to tank while having heroes nuke the monsters? If so, could some1 post some builds to use for them.-- 01:15, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

any nuker build can be used...but pull aggro, cause they are stupid. 15:25, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

[] Still works??

I thought this doesnt work now since SF nerf?-- 03:34, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

You can still maintain it at ~14 shadow arts, energy is just harder since you have to cast it more often-- 03:49, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Duration at SA16 22sec + 20% from weapon = 26sec < recharge 45sec -33% through Paradox = 30 sec. Or am I missing something? -- 01:50, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Cons. I can't believe there are people that stupid that they can't infer. 01:58, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

[] For DoA without cons ...

... use Glyph of Swiftness instead of Lightbringer Signet. Glyph of Swiftness and Deadly Paradox add up. Makes SF maintainable at Shadow Arts 14 and higher.

Replace Glyph of Lesser Energy rather than LB signet. 16:45, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Glyph of Concentration tbh. You need it n sht. ···  17:18, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

FIX FFS ITS CORRUPTED!!!!!!!!!!!! The preceding comment was added by ( • ) .

lolwut? ···  20:12, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
I think TonyPlob didn't find the Show button - it isn't great usability-wise because you set width at 100% and Show/Hide are where Edit is expected. Usually they are close together. I'll see if I can make it more usable if I have time (maybe later) -- 16:01, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
We can't adjust where the show/hide button shows up. It's in the Monobook style. And really, if you can't take the 5 seconds to figure out that it says "show", not "edit", you really ought to rethink where you're going in life. ···  16:34, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
No it's not - you can relocate show/hide easily using, say, width=170px instead of width="100%" (or 20% or whatever) which I tried before posting here, but I don't like how it is superscripted (which I believe is default for how H# headings work) and thought maybe there is a way to fix that. As to the second part, showing collapsed tables is rare on pvxwiki, so it is inconsistent, which is bad from a usability standpoint, and Edit and Show are the same word length, so people expect it to be there and assume that is what it says (yes, it really does matter). Furthermore, the way the page loads it flashes and shows the build and then the build disappears, and I think some people immediately assume it's broken (see the part about inconsistency). -- 19:00, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

I like how does it - maybe mimic that -- 19:59, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Holy crap that's an eyesore. o_O or maybe it's just because i'm stuck on IE at work. ···  20:39, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

[] A/Any?

It has some elemental skills too.. A/E

and A/Me

[] Why does this have it's own page?

It's two builds that are used in specific teams. 00:36, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Why not? --
