Fast and durable Dervish build to farm Hard Mode Vaettir for Glacial Stones, Mesmer tomes and golds.

Attributes and Skills

Equipment

Armor

• Max armor, full Windwalker Insignias.
• Rune of Superior Vigor, Runes of Vitae.

Weapons

• Any Scythe (of Enchanting recommended).
• Spear, Sword or Axe of Enchanting, Shield with +10ar vs Earth Damage Inscription (recommended).

Usage

• Display your Norn Title.
• Leave from Longeye's Ledge and run to Jaga Moraine, avoiding enemies.
• Immediately queue Vow of Silence if attacked by a Frost Wurm, continue running to Jaga Moraine.
• Grab bounty for Norn reputation points.
  • Use Extend Enchantments followed by Intimidating Aura.
  • Use Vow of Piety.
  • Use Extend Enchantments followed by Vow of Silence.
• Use Pious Fury -> Extend Enchantments -> Vow of Silence to maintain Vow of Silence, Pious Fury will remove your previous cast.
• Ball the Vaettir up in front of you so you can start whacking them with your scythe. If you ball all 60, you'll need to wall glitch them to avoid scattering.
• Swap to your scythe and alternate between using Crippling Victory and Reap Impurities until the Vaettir die.
• Rinse and repeat.

Counters

• Failure to maintain/recast Vow of Silence while Vow of Piety is active.
• Health under ~725, losing the damage reduction from Intimidating Aura (Vaettir now have 720 health in HM).
• Taking too much damage while balling, equip Shield set or walk backwards.

Notes

• Consider using morale boosting consumables for an easy 48 additional health.
• Deaths within 14 seconds of resurrection do not incur any additional Death Penalty (self resurrection from Eternal Aura).
• You can farm the first 25 snowmen in the secret lair of the snowmen too with this build (rather easy).
