Build talk:D/W PvE AoD Dervish
I tried the build, and I suggest a change. Meditation for Zealous Renewal. As Long as you have a zealous scythe, you can hold energy much better. Tsunami (User:Tsunami) 06:49, 22 February 2011 (UTC) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tsunami (User:Tsunami) (talk • contribs) .

- Taking an enchant that hoses all your adrenaline on a bar with SY! is probably a crappy idea. The whole point of the build (from what I can see) is to spam SY! and heals from the avatar. Zealous Renewal is a cheap flash enchant that is used to power the teardown attacks (and supply party healing) while returning it's energy cost when it's stripped. It should stay. And if it were me, I'd dump Dust Cloak and Staggering Force and take Balthazar's Rage (burning and +adrenaline when stripped) and another cheap 5en flash enchant like Aura of Thorns (PBAoE cripple, and bleeding when stripped). The earth damage from DC and StF would be negligible in HM anyway. jimbo321 talk 03:30, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- I chose those 2 because theyre the only ones with 6 second recharges. 10 seconds is too long for this build tbh. Life Guardian (User:Life Guardian) 05:56, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Why is there any reason to run two enchant strippers? Go with just Pious assault.
Sacrifice 2 Scythe Mastery and 1 Mysticism to bump Earth up to 10 + 1 and take Sand Shards for an awesome AoE buff that will also self-strip itself during battle for healing.
Whirling Charge is also great, whether you have high wind prayers or no wind prayers. Its another self-stripping enchant with an excellent recharge that will help you run from enemy to enemy faster. 76.208.9.218 06:35, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- Enchant stripping is the whole point. The main reason that the enchants are there is to fuel the teardowns which provide near-constant party-wide heals via AoD. Any additional functionality that you can get out of the enchants is basically a bonus. jimbo321 talk 06:45, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- IMS is useful. Balthazar's Rage and Whirling Charge (and "FGJ!") together would make maintaining "SY!" much easier. Also, you can't really make use of two 6s recharge Flash Enchantments on top of Zealous Renewal (together, you'd have an Enchantment recharged every ~2.3s but you can only use an attack skill to remove Enchantments every ~2.6s; with 6s, 10s, 10s, you'd have Enchantments recharged every ~2.7s). If you were to take Whirling Charge and Rending Aura (or any other 6s recharge), however, you could actually have an Enchantment ending every ~2.3s, but timing would be a little difficult (you would sometimes need Whirling Charge for your attack skills, but you'd also often want Whirling Charge to end itself). [edit] Goal of the build
If this is to replace a healer, I would suggest dropping the scythe skills. Take Meditation, autoattacks should be fine DPS, especially compared to a monk. You could consider Release Enchantments for a Party-Wide WoH effect. Don't know if SY has a place here.Minion

- Probably more relevant here. St. Michael (User:St. Michael) 21:10, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- SY fits into this because it is actually attacking. the other dwayna build focuses more on the spaming or defence and less on damage. however, yes Release Enchantments would provide the other build ability to use the longer duration enchants more effectively. kinda distracted atm, can't edit right away though. 98.133.63.146 13:50, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- You should be attacking with both builds, that is the whole point of Flash Enchantments. However, the more scythe attacks you take, the less benefit from AoD you recieve. There is no room for scythe attacks here, imo. Autoattacking under SoH (maybe GDW if you're lucky) would be good enough.Minion

- only one flash enchant ends on auto attacking, the others are either no spec'ed or teardown. this build is mostly teardown while the other is minimal specing for spam endings. in both, you auto attack but only this one "needs" scythe to not be stupid. This is dumb to use on players, stick on a hero tbh--Relyk talk 00:37, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
- looks nice but drop chilling victory for some extra enchant to teardown or quickend. also Eremite's Zeal > Zealious strike for energy and is an enchant to trigger. 98.134.40.81 10:57, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
[edit] hero-only suggestion
or spec scythe:11+1, wind:8+1, earth:9+1, myst:9+1+1
first version i have 2 or 3 dervs @15 mystic and there is a constant flow of tiny damage and moderate heals. twister can be sandstorm if not worried about scatter. the second attribute spread enables auto attacking but barely heals as much... pious assault can be used for tear downs but would have to change meditation for zealious renewal which i hate. Furwhat (User:Furwhat) 19:22, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Ive been using this works pretty decent.

- As per my tiny research at User:Chieftain Alex/Sandbox, I'd like to suggest
- Meditation is not needed due to presence of Zealous Renewal.
- Whirling allows the hero to rush into battle with scythe to be in range.

- I like Alex' build. The only thing I'd be worried about is whether the hero would spam Fleeting properly or not. --Jai. - 14:14, August 23 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Current hero build looks bullshit?
Well at least attacker's insight. --

- Still looks zzz, I don't know if Lyssa's Haste would work better.--Relyk 22:44, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
