But your vote on the P/A dagger spammer isn't really relevent. It's meant for use with heroes, not PuGs. Obviously you'd want to run Imbagon in PuG teams, and past that (like you said) there's no need for other paras. But in 7H, Imbagon has essentially zero damage and the damage reduction is rarely needed if you have an ST, so it's generally a much better idea to run a damage-oriented build instead of Imbagon. I'm not going to ask you to change your rating on the vote, but I'd appreciate it if you'd update your reasoning to reflect its intended use. -- -

Given that (as far as I'm aware) we don't cache DPL queries, that would be a horrible idea, the query would be getting executed everytime someone loaded the main page. Also it's fine how you've put it, chances are people don't come here to see which item they need for nick, rather what build is best for getting said item. Yeah, that's why you can only use DPL on protected pages. Initially we weren't going to be allowed DPL (when we moved to Curse this is) at all until we found the setting that makes it work on protected pages only. The reason why Panic is good is not because of Wastrel's, it's good because it is THE strongest shutdown for a mob of 5+ (which is about half of HM if you're balling). If you think Wastrel's is an annoying spell to run on a Panic mes, then bring it up on the talk page instead of downvoting one of the most ridiculously powerful player builds we have on the wiki. Put simply, there could be nothing but Panic on that bar, and a player's ability to target exactly what monster he wants is what makes the build useful over simply running a Panic hero. PI doesn't compare with the total shutdown of Panic either, because at best you're going to have them on the ground half of the time, whereas Panic is essentially maintainable with the correct attributes. Yes, PI is better for small groups in places like Ascalon, so that's maybe a tick off of universality at most, and not the 4-5 that you've given the build at this time. -- -

Yeah, for one thing, Panic effectively has double the range of PI, as foes that are nearby the target are hexed, and when they cast they interrupt foes nearby them (i.e. nearby a nearby foe). So Panic is maintainable, gets stronger as the mob gets bigger, and has, in essence, double the range of PI (probably closer to one-and-a-half, if you were to look at it statistically). Considering that, I don't see how you can say that PI is superior to Panic in a significant number of areas. -- -

- I've been playing with the common.css a bit - these are the changes I've made to the div class to display correctly.
For each of the tooltips it tries to put a background on them, it looks for e.g. http://www.gwpvx.com/img_skin/Ritualist.jpg, the "img_skin" folder exists, but the file does not.

What editing do they plan to do here? If it's to submit their own build or something like that, it's not likely to go anywhere with so few editors to comment/rate. The abuse filter and captcha stopped a lot of spam, but I had to keep tweaking and adding to the abuse filters to block spambots as they changed their tactics. I don't have time for it anymore, and so the alternative to locking the wiki was to let spam overtake it.
The block on account creation/anon editing is enforced by the abuse filter, btw. I could allow a specific name through if I had good cause, but you'd have to tell me what that cause is. -- 19:23, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
