Among the things stolen on my account included a VS and a Dhuum Soulreaper which was on my Dervish hero on my necro. - Any gold selling site will probably have a script set up (or just a sweatshop of workers) to handle stripping characters and their heroes. Also, no one actually has access to user passwords wiki side. That would require backend access (not a single user on PvX has this - unless you count the Curse staff with accounts, and even most of them don't have direct access to it). Guru probably works the same way. -- Toraen confer 08:14, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

From Generic healer
Hang on; if this tripe is allowed in as a "pug build" why was Rit lord party healer trashed? The only difference between this and rt lord is the hex removal. ~Ӎiñon

- Eh, since when was quantity of builds per profession something to take into account? This build is awful. The reason I was willing to concede the Rit was worse than the UA party healer was because it has prots; this doesn't. Double standards is obvious. ~Ӎiñon
09:18, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
- Minion, the problem here is your lack of grasp of what constitutes a good or bad build and the extent to which you will back-up your own builds despite gaping flaws. I actually just took the time to read through the Rit Lord healer PvX and guru and have a few comments to make. Please don't take these comments as an opportunity to essay me. Having read both sites, I believe you have already said anything useful that could be said, and a whole lot more too... So, here goes.
- - It is interesting that you chose to kick and scream about double standards. Particularly interesting considering that the build you posted was essentially a variant of this which was already archived. Turns out, if you look through this build's edit history, the first version of the build was almost exactly the same as the one you posted but somewhere along the line was rectified by me and hosted for a while until archived for exactly the reasons we are still telling you right now. If people aren't being fair to you, it's not because they're here to inherently dislike you (as you somehow believe), it's because you've made them dislike you by so blindly defending everything you try to paste your name to.
- - On the subject of double standards, I thought I'd mention that while your vote of 3.4 on a generic healer build is, of course, completely valid because "it has no prots". I'm struggling to believe that you immediately followed this up by ranting about how a a rit lord healer with absolutely no prots, and even less utility (hex removal, res and/or fast on-demand casting), is so great. And that how 1 group heal, 2 ~direct heals and a short burst of strong party regeneration (SoL) is somehow "too many" heals whereas as 1 group heal, 2 direct heals, and 2 continual party regeneration skills is, of course, perfectly acceptable.
- - In regards to my previous point, I figured that something was making you believe that monks with UA should always and only have prot (and perhaps this belief caused the rating which you gave the generic healer bar). Yet many of the posts on guru are references to how poor your UA build is (the most well used pug monk build (for fowsc) hasn't a single prot). However, these warning signs were ignored completely and a "full" analysis was done of the healing ability of a Ritlord compared to your version of a UA monk which, I will mention now, has only 7 in Healing prayers. Not only this, but then feeling some sort of achievement when rit lord turns out higher. This is actually crazy, and I'm surprised none of the forever-scrutinizing guru community picked up on it. It's like asking someone which of two kittens is cuter when one is simply a dog with a cat mask. (At this point, I'll also throw in that if used wisely, almost no heal in the game is better than Seed of Life and that seems to have been omitted ).
- The PvX community has tirelessly told you that you're wrong, that your statements are often ridiculous and ill-conceived and that while builds may "work" in pve of course they should do, it's pve. I speak not only for myself when I say I am fed up and that your behaviour really must change if you plan on continuing to actively contribute to this site. Instigating drama to the extent that you have is not something that has been ignored.
- If you feel I've made any particularly unjust remarks, you can contact me on msn (AthrunFeya@gmail.com) and we will sort things out from there. Of course, if you choose to ignore this plea and follow up with a tl;dr, do not expect there to be no consequences. - AthrunFeya

- Oh, and happy new year. - AthrunFeya
11:42, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
- My issue was that a pure healer has always been bad in PvE since Hard Mode. If there's no mega damage mitigation elsewhere, a dual monk backline (which is the norm in pugs) needs some form of prots. I find it hard to believe that build was ever in Great, and I don't care that you call it generic healer because WoH Hybrid is also a healer but half the bar consists of prots that mitigate far more damage per energy than a single Heal Party. Oh, and it has Seed of Life still, so that skill is moot. That being said; supposedly your generic healer build is run alongside a prot character? A WoH Hybrid, most likely, or Burst. It was only a side point, though, I'm not trying to defend the Rit Lord (it's been deleted once/archived once) but yeah, it's still doubly standardy. Both builds were measured heavily on energy management also. The generic healer, as it is on the page, would have failed immensely, with only 3 regen and spamming a 15e spell. There was obvious bias towards my build, of course.
- Prots are important in PvE, especially when you have no tank. It's not the job of the warrior to take defy pain to survive; they take as much damage as possible to make things dead and stop hurting you. SCs are a different story. How many 7H teams rely on ST or PS to tank? All of them.
- Out of all the new years, this will be one. ~Ӎiñon

- After reading this again, I have to apologise. I had no idea you were talking about how amazing UA and heals were in Speed Clears. I agree with you. Because that's surely where your knowledge of PvE ends; Big balls of foes, centred around a tank. Patient sucks in general PvE; it's too slow to react and so is Heal Party. This is why a full heal bar is bad; not to mention you don't have enough time to use all those heals without one already having recharged. ~Ӎiñon
01:26, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- "the most well used pug monk build (for fowsc) hasn't a single prot" UA's in FoW are some of the worst healers in the game and that bar would be more effective with SoA and maybe Spirit Bond. Not like it would matter though. They would still just use Heal Party to heal 20 damage on one guy. Probably not a good idea using them as proof pure heal UA is great. HerpDerp (User:HerpDerp) 01:42, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- Again this build is GENERIC, it's used in PuG and Balanced Guild Teams for PvE, and yes it does put out. First off, in speed clears you don't generally need prots on monks because it's a speed clear, you shouldn't be dying because you generally have tanking skills (not to mention faster killing), so no, prots would not improve the current UA builds. In, Balanced and PuG, PvE prots are always really good, which means having a prot monk aswell as a healer is ideal. Not having a single hybrid, because of course you will not be nearly as effective as you would specializing. I think the biggest problem here is that most people just don't know how to monk because I've personally done everything in the game as a Monk and have had no trouble with anything. If you can see where damage is going to pop up you can precast patient, so no there's no problem with that and dwayna's is super strong 1/2-1s cast. Managing energy is just something you have to learn, you don't need skills for it (besides HP) just brains, eg. don't spam shit, don't use the wrong spells, use 40/40 sets. With a decent prot, there's been no place in the entire game where I've had to spam the crap out of heal party, to the point that I use /Me for Auspicious Incantation with the recharge time. Chucking prots on a healer just means you have less time/energy to heal, because you're not going to be stocking up on 5e prots in PvE. And this is Guild Wars, damage mitagation =/= to just prots, offensive skills, positioning can mitigate way more damage than any prot, which some people still don't understand after IDK how many years in this game. None of your claims make any sense and it seems more like you're just annoyed over getting a build trashed. --Silven Shadow (User:Silven Shadow) 04:23, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Don't bring offsite BS on here. We don't care if he said that on Steam/Skype/Facebook/whatever crap people use to talk to others. We won't except it as valid evidence of anything, not to mention it makes you look like a giant dick. ~ PheNaxKian talk 12:39, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Slightly offtopic, I'm a giant dick too but I keep that shit on pvx, minion. I start work in an hour so peace.
12:52, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Does he really need evidence to prove that 0-0-0 is blatant vote balancing? Cɥıǝɟʇɐıu Alǝx 13:43, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- No, but that wasn't the issue here, my issue was he was taking a conversation held off PvX and brought it onto PvX. Which we have never excepted for the precise reason That I could say to Toraen "That <Insert username here> is a real douchebag and does nothing but whine and cause work for us". If he then went and posted a screenshot of that, it would then be expected that some other admin should ban me for breaking NPA (a wiki based policy). But, why should I be banned for saying something, off wiki, without that user even being aware I said that?
- That example's a bit abstracted from this situation, but I think it illustrates my point as to why that screen was a dick move, and why we don't consider it fair evidence. That's not to say he wasn't vote balancing, but just that conversation is irrelevant as far as an admin is concerned. ~ PheNaxKian talk 17:17, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Even if jai knew it would be screenied? Cɥıǝɟʇɐıu Alǝx 17:35, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

- Even if jai knew it would be screenied? Cɥıǝɟʇɐıu Alǝx 17:35, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- I only know Jai from PvX. I was discussing the build with him and was actually getting somewhere to explaining why Searing Flames was bad in comparison to AP and EA fire (for heroes). I've seen a lot worse of posting off-wiki, but it's usually out of humour (Relyk's first and last conversation with danny, for example and Rask's shoe balancing trick). None of the admins were having ig that Jai was votebalancing, even though it was blatantly obvious (especially when I fired the discussion again and everyone started lowering votes in response). In that respect, I felt what I did was justified. I certainly would not post NPA of any kind because I don't care about NPA and NPA doesn't help. Someone's opinion differing from a vote matters. ~Ӎiñon
18:35, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- No, what you did was not justified. Frosty had handled it and people revoted, as they're allowed to. As far as admins were concerned that was the end of it. The users then went back and lowered their votes. Now, alerting the admins to this is fine, however you decided that wasn't enough, that you had to publicly show up Jai, by posting a conversation he held with you in private, and I've yet to see has actually said it's OK for you to post said conversation. ~ PheNaxKian talk 20:19, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't ask his permission. What Alex meant was "expect everything you say to be taken into account, wherever you say it." It's a PvX argument, therefore I see no reason treating it any differently. I don't think the format matters, and I would post the whole thing, I don't care. The point is, that bit matters. Something different about your scenario with Toraen and this real instance; votebalancing is serious but bitching about someone then sharing that bitching does nothing. Also, you have to look at the chronology of all this; I posted on the AN before the votewipe. If you mean the first time Frosty removed votes, the 0-0's just became 1-1's so really, no one took his warning into account. This is why I posted the quote from Jai. ~Ӎiñon
20:46, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Even if Rask said it was fine to post our own discussion of the AP Ele, it's taken out of context and irrelevant to discussion that has already taken place. Admins don't hold users accountable for what they say off the wiki, as it's in confidence. Whether you're aware of that or not, it's a consideration when you post on the admin noticeboard. The fact you used defamatory remarks to attack Jai's position from a conversation outside of the wiki should be a red flag. I understand that you want to "blow a whistle" on the issue, but simply stating that the votes were vote balancing would've been more effective.--Relyk 23:09, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- I see your point. I won't be doing it again, but just to point out it wasn't intended to appear as an attack against Jai, merely "proof" if proof be needed. ~Ӎiñon

Minion came back
In case youll be back in the next century, I wrote a little song for you. I suggest watching the original before.
Old admin Athrun had problems of his own.
She had a banned Minion that wouldnt leave is home
She banned and she banned and she banned Minion again
She banned him again for so many days...
But Minion came back with a different name
Minion came back, we're sure he is a socker
But Minion came back, he just couldnt stay away.
Give me a ban, go. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
So our admin Frosty swore he'd kill Minion on sight
He loaded up his banhammer with fails and dramamite
He banned him and he banned him everytime he came around.
57 IPs of Minion, is all that he found...
But Minion came back with a different name
Minion came back, we're sure he is a socker
But Minion came back, he just couldnt stay away.
Give me a ban, go. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
So his army of socks was just going to bloom
He had an army of socks as big as the Moon
But Athrun came up and he banned him again
But this time the ban is forever... Ok...
But you know! Minion came back with a different name
Minion came back, we're sure he is a socker
But Minion came back, he just couldnt stay away.
Give me a ban, go. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
So he created a new account very very fast
He pissed off even who of patience has the best.
Ok I must admit it was an epic fail.
Not a comment was left behind to tell the awesome tale...
But Minion came back with a different name
Minion came back, we're sure he is a socker
But Minion came back, he just couldnt stay away.
Give me a ban, go. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
What is funny is that he screwed him on his own.
They banned every IP till he stood up alone.
Now you may come again if you dont stay around.
Stay away for a while, till a good behavior you have found.
And Minion isnt back with a different name
Minion isnt back, he got his IPs banned
And Minion isnt back, he just should wait and pray.
Give me a ban, go. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
Sing it all again!
And Minion isnt back with a different name
Minion isnt back, he got his IPs banned
And Minion isnt back, he just should wait and pray.
Give me a ban, go. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
Louder ban! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN.
LOUDER! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!
A little quieter ban. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
Quieter ban. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
Quieter ban... Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
Shhh quieter... Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Silent (talk) at 15:13, 1 June 2012 (UTC).
