Meta Tag
Hi, I was wondering if you (or any other lost soul who reads this page) could shed some light on the "meta tag" for me. I was wondering what qualifies a build for the meta category. Of course I understand that OP builds like Panic qualify for this category, but what about the UA healer build for example? This build is categorised in "good" so is it safe to assume that not all meta build have to be "great" builds, but just popular ones? If this is the case, I'm wondering if Discordway for example still deserves this tag these day. Vorpal
21:16, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, you're on the right track. In my alliance I see people asking for the discord builds daily (and never anything else, except maybe Sabway). Basically, meta is what is at least decent and is very commonly seen in pugs and in farming groups. The HB healer, for instance, isn't exactly the best monk build you can run, but it's easy to use and used by nearly every group that has healers in it. The UA healer could probably go either way, to be honest. It's moderately common, and is easily the most common hero monk healer build. --Jai. - 21:26, July 14 2011 (UTC)

User talk:E.Snow to User:E.Snow
Just so you know, new users can only create their own talk page. Hence a lecture in the edit summary doesn't do much good. I posted a workaround in the most recent news post (and linked it in the sitenotice), but I guess most people just don't read it. -- Toraen talk 03:02, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yes..it was the reason I put it in the talk page b/c I couldn't seem to put it anywhere else. I looked at the sandbox options but tbh..no one uses those and for a new user..they won't want to be the 1st to use an existing option that no one uses. If the "workaround" is not the sandbox option..I am confused.--E.Snow (User:E.Snow) 03:10, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, right, forgot about that. I remember one of the other users a week or two back that first found the issue, but it slipped my mind since then. E.Snow, I should have offered more explanation as to the whole moved page and everything, but I was feeling particularly lazy so I didn't do anything but move the page. If you need any help, feel free to ask one of the few people who are still around for assistance. Most of the elitist faggotry that has plagued PvX over the years has died down, so you might just end up having a nice time here. :D --Jai. - 03:20, August 2 2011 (UTC)
- No worries. I am brand new here and do not quite understand how things work so plz excuse me. I have intentions of updating some of the Dungeon things..I guess as soon as my "4 days or whatever" is up. Should I put some of those in the sandbox for now? Oh and one other ?...do these comments and such count as edits? If not what counts as the (9 I think) edits that are required for me to have more access?--E.Snow (User:E.Snow) 03:27, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, comments count towards your edits. If you need any page created, just create a link to what you want the name to be (place something like this:[[Build:Team - Dungeon SC]]) in the sandbox. Another user will create the page for you so that you can edit that page. -- Toraen talk 03:29, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Hi
I had a whole paragraph written where I raged at you for being bad, but I figured your one-line insult to me didn't really account for it, and lolpvx. So I'll just say the only people supporting that build are shitty players at the moment. Roland (User:Roland) 05:12, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
- i like how you think it all becomes ok when you say lolpvx because you clearly care enough to write a paragraph because you got flamed and called a retard by Jai of all people.Minion

- I have a high ego and couldn't sleep so I figured I would respond and follow the average pvx'ers protocol of flaming on his talk page. Roland (User:Roland) 20:13, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
- Relyk is the only person here (that I have seen) that doesn't suck a hard one at GW. Toraen is the only person here that is actually sensible. The people that are trashing the build are you, shadow form, and excluded, and shadow form has proven time and again that he cannot reason anywhere near properly, and excluded has been shown himself to be a scrub several times on PvX (see User:Excluded/physway debate for an example). --Jai. - 12:44, August 27 2011 (UTC)
- You're not pinning that on me still, are you? Physway happened a year ago :o. Anyway, it's still bad (no, not physway) Although I do acknowledge that we were trying hard to sell a team build that didn't do anything. It was a fun way to enter the PvX land, though. Minion

- @Excluded, you've never shown me anything to say that you've changed from that kind of terrible reasoning you've shown on that page (and others). Not to mention that crap is still the first thing that comes to mind when I see you. @SFS, I don't really have much of an ego, I just don't like you because of all the retarded crap you've done here (like the massive voting streak you did where 70% of the votes looked like you didn't know what the fuck you were talking about).
- As a rule of thumb, I'm basically OCD about trying to change peoples' minds on a subject where I think they are wrong. It's nothing personal, I just don't like anything to be incorrect ever. I also say fuck a lot and flame people because PvX is the one place I can vent and because I'm a "good little boy" in real life. And I'm on the internet because I don't really like people all that much (though I'm fantastic at pretending and almost anyone IRL likes me) so I go where people can't know who I am and I try to shit all over them. /Jai'slifestory --Jai. - 03:34, August 28 2011 (UTC)

This is rather cute... And first off, any (and I really mean any) build that has Meleemancer in its name is retardation. Second, if you're going to try to do melee, you'd be better off with VoS. The fact that you have fucking Barbs in the optionals tells me you have no clue what you're doing. Also, I don't care whether you have PS or not. 20 armor is going to make everything hit 60's on you, and you'll die in exactly 10 hits, whether they be wands, flares, whatever. And of course, if it does get stripped (because enchantment removal is common in PvE, guys), you'll die about as fast as a 600 monk that drops PS. --Jai. - 10:43, October 12 2011 (UTC)
- meh, if you are secondary derv AND you're getting ench removed all the time, VoS would be the inferior option to unremovable HB. --
Chieftain Alex 12:43, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- If there's a good amount of enchantment removal in the area, you shouldn't be using PS, SoH, SoA, or any of the other enchants that are associated with meleeing. At that point you'd be better off just running a vanilla caster build. --Jai. - 13:26, October 12 2011 (UTC)
- You always use PS/Aegis. SoA is optional, but you can use a cover enchant (Aegis or SoA to cover PS) And it's enough when you have plenty of heals to survive until after you've blown up the mob. @Vincent; That's the best cartoon I have ever seen. srs Ӎiñon

Hi, breaking 1RV is more disruptive than leaving a stub tag on a userspace build. Explain to him the situation, and when he knows what he did wrong, revert the change then to avoid breaking policy and spamming recent changes. Thanks! — skakid 00:53, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Irony is since the tags were edited to check for the correct buildspace to apply the templates by Hhippo, its a very outdated policy that we don't use tags in userspace builds :/

Jai, think this through. A new user has just joined. They decide to make a build in their userspace, and add a tag onto it because they want it to be seen. They don't know that's the wrong thing to do. They go away for a while, and when they come back they see the tag's been removed, so they add it back in. They do some more edits, go away again and the same thing happens! What is a new user to do in such a situation other than keep correcting this mistake!
My point here is: It took you guys about 5 removals before one of you thought "hey lets leave a message on his talk page"... ~ PheNaxKian talk 13:14, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- I thought he would figure it out earlier. Probably should have sent him a message earlier, but I guess I assumed that after it had been removed twice he might try to figure out why. But Ska's just making a big deal out of it because I called him out for troll voting. --Jai. - 22:32, November 5 2011 (UTC)

- If you had reverted somebody a couple of times before telling them that they're breaking policy, I probably wouldn't care, no. :/ (going slightly by my previous example, should a cop give somebody a ticket for going 57 in a 55, especially when there's at least one other person going 85?) --Jai. - 19:57, November 6 2011 (UTC)

- It's not a case of caring. Also, your analogy doesn't translate very, it'd be more apt. to have said "is it fair to give someone a speeding ticket for doing 60 in a 50 zone, when there's somebody committing murder in the next town over". (at least, I'm assuming your implying the "80" is Ska and his troll vote(s)). ~ PheNaxKian talk 00:07, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
- It's more of a case of one going 80 and getting caught, then continuing to go 80 regardless. The guy who went 57 spends all his time fighting against the ticket, but the speed gun doesn't lie. He pays the fine. — skakid 04:03, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

- No, this isn't out of anger of anything, but I figured it'd be easier to give examples as to how the vetting system is flawed right now than to write up a whole page about it. --Jai. - 20:02, November 12 2011 (UTC)
- I just don't get why you act this way all of a sudden :( Did something happen or are there any ratings you're dissatisfied with at this moment, for you to react this way? Vorpal
- And you're saying the 5-5 votes on just about any build here aren't out of proportion? No build is perfect, and that includes ER eles, shock axe, etc. etc. --Jai. - 19:46, November 12 2011 (UTC)
- Except that they are WAY out out proportion, and you know it. Vorpal
- Except they each have valid reasons, ones that have been brought up (and never really refuted) many times in the past. --Jai. - 19:38, November 12 2011 (UTC)
- ER vote, well, yes, it is a problem, enchant remove. BUT SINCE WHEN DOES THE A.I HAVE THE BRAIN TO ACTUALLY FUNCTION AS HUMANS?!? Shadow 20:28, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- So you wanna prove your point by submitting retarded votes? C'mon.. Vorpal
Well that was dumb. -- Toraen talk 20:14, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- (EC)The system isn't perfect but it's what we got; you'll have to deal with it. Troll votes and bad reasoning come with the territory. Protesting by trashvoting builds just creates shit for the admins (i.e. Toraen) to deal with. It won't help solve the problem and just makes you part of the problem.--Relyk 20:17, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
- (EC)Yes, troll votes and bad reasoning do come with the territory, so shouldn't we do something about it so that it doesn't affect (or affects less) the ratings of builds? I'm not advocating bring back BM's or anything, and I'm not saying Toraen and Phen should start going and removing any and all votes that aren't within the majority. However, I think there is a lot that we could do to make the criteria for vetting a lot clearer (because you know as well as I do that there are several arguments that get rehashed whenever a noob makes a new build). If it was up to me, we'd also have a more lenient policy for removing votes, but I'm not going to argue that one too much because I know Toraen and Phen are against that. Still, I don't think it's too much to ask to get something like this into the works so we don't have to get into the same arguments over and over across multiple builds. --Jai. - 20:31, November 12 2011 (UTC)
- Only people like Skakid who are familiar with the wiki and display critical thinking would reason with comparing builds across professions. You don't see those kinds of issues with users that tend to only rate builds, who simply vote based on if they find that the build works well or not. Things like CuBuRe are common sense for any semi-intelligent person. It's simply impractically to provide stringent criteria for what a build should be. The ratings are what they are, you can't police every build for the rating you think it should have. Just trust our little community will be right most of the time as they aren't nearly as retarded as the rest of Guildwars.--Relyk 20:53, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

- Let's recap: PoD hybrid is strong, ignore the minion bomber for now, eSurge and Inept are strong, SoS and SoGM are strong and so is the RoJ monk. RoJway, while good, is only really effective with a melee player to anchor mobs. The bulk of your damage comes from RoJ, which is very glass-cannon. If they kite both RoJs, you're doomed. - Continuing on, using roj with a caster isn't that great of an option, where you can immediately spike with AP or other nukes. You still have to love the convenience of hex removal with aoe heals and possibly RoJ+YMLaD for spiking. It's still possible to spike with RoJ on a caster without balling if you bring Binding Chains on a hero. It's something you have to work more for otherwise you get rojs firing off randomly and not getting much done.--Relyk 08:51, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- One smiter is enough, two doesn't add much else (similar to running two minion bombers) SoS hybrid/SoGM are strong in an offensive and defensive aspect; ghostshields and boneshields make things easy. Shared Burden tries to capitalise on RoJ's effect, so I'm pretty sure that is the expected damage output skill of the build, much like I use snares to keep foes in MoP's effect. But we're now talking 7HPS vs RoJway on casters. The paragon is trash, that option can be deleted on that page because it has 0 synergy. You already have FB on the RoJ and there are no physical augmenting skills like orders, barbs, mop or so. Panic is meh aswell but both of the mesmer bars are very mix and match. - You skip a step since markway is totally different from 7HS; rather you should be arguing why markway is better than 7HS, and then argue by continuation that 7HS is better than RoJway. You can just as easily call rojway a variant of 7HS (7HS is the set of all team builds) for the same purpose.--Relyk 02:22, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- You do realize the 7HPS is 7 Hero Player Support (hint hint), not Markway, right? Everything I'm talking about there is about 7HPS, because you were talking about 7HPS as well. And you were arguing for 7HPS by saying you should add in the RoJ, which makes the build nearly an exact copy of RoJway except that you replace the second RoJ with a resto necro. AoB Dervish
Ok I've saved the build from deletion for a short while [rating is exactly 3.75]. I'm wondering about the order conditions are applied by it, is the burning on top or is the blind/cracked armor on top - so when you use reap impurities does it remove the burning or the other condition? If it turns out it removes the burning then the build is meh. I'll add some proper reasoning when/if i get a response.
Chieftain Alex 07:41, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Alex; removing Burning>removing CA, I would have thought. Dem whirling derwish like big numbers and burning has no big numbers. EDIT: Burning= 14dps (compare with CA pls?)~Ӎiñon
10:50, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- It doesn't really matter. The conditions aren't what are providing the brunt of the damage. Dust Cloak and Staggering Force are used because they're the only two 6-recharge skills that are in the same attribute. If there were shorter-recharging flash enchantments (outside of PR obviously), it'd be using those, since TMS should be available every other attack, or every 2.25 seconds. The idea is just to pump damage as much as possible, which should be fine as you've already got an extra 20-25 armor (the last 5 being from an enchantment on you - SoH or Zealous Renewal or something) and energy management is great since you're getting 12 energy every swing of TMS. In fact, I think the build might be able to go without Zealous, but if nothing else it's another flash enchantment with the nice advantage of being free. Still, might definitely add Grenth's Fingers and/or Grenth's Aura as variants soon. --Jai. - 12:04, November 17 2011 (UTC)

"Toraen and Phen would be able to see that I pretty much only use one IP"
Unless you're using old computers and an OLD Modem from some terribad ISP (and unless you've set it up to be otherwise, which you only need to if you're doing network related things really), you will have a dynamic IP. So you might log in from the same machine (or two) but you might have about 10 different IP addresses as far as we can see (but it's easy to see you're using 2, potentially 3 different networks because of what the addresses are) ~ PheNaxKian talk 23:57, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Gun laws
I'm interested in your view on this, since you brought it up. Why would you/everyone be opposed? ~Ӎiñon
00:00, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'm against having things outside of simple handguns and rifles, for self-defense and hunting respectively (and I dislike hunting, btw, but other people do). Having more than that is just stupid, but since it's the second amendment in our constitution and touching the constitution is essentially heresy, there's no way we're going to have any real restrictions on guns for the foreseeable future. --Jai. - 00:07, December 6 2011 (UTC)

Thus, guns, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom from cruel and unusual punishment, and so on are untouchable in essence. And the rules were made in 1787 when the Constitution was adopted... Lol Lincoln. Ska, the domino effect has been proven time and again to be completely false. --Jai. - 01:33, December 6 2011 (UTC)

- I would have expected the police to have guns and a greater presence. I think I'll have to find out what happens in the UK but I'm pretty sure if a criminal and a civilian were to aim a gun at eachother, the criminal wouldn't hesitate to shoot. People get permits for hunting rifles or permission to have a shooting range in their house, etc. I guess people feel everyone having a gun is a deterrent for crime? And the rules were made in 1787 when the Constitution was adopted... Lol Lincoln. Ska, the domino effect has been proven time and again to be completely false. --Jai. - 01:33, December 6 2011 (UTC)

Banning them would be the way forward but theres already too many so the black market for them would be too big so it would just keep a criminal element but take away the protection one. I mean, in england, we have pretty much no gun crime at all and cops dont need to carry guns, ive never even seen a gun irl... shoulda just had it that way in the first place! Make Jai happy
Think of it this way:
If most people on the wiki, who are more knowledgeable than the average player, don't like a build, neither will the rest of the gw community. I can disagree all I want, but if people don't like it, let it be trashed. That way we only keep builds that are effective and that people use effectively. When it comes to niche builds like resto rit lord and er dom, a majority of pve players won't like using them. If people don't like to use the builds, what purpose does it serve having them on PvXwiki? It's not about what builds you or I find effective, it's what the community as a whole finds effective; that's what makes the wiki such a great resource for builds.--Relyk 08:29, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- But the community likes stuff like Discord!? The majority of PvE players are not pro and actually run things like a resto rit Relyk, when Excluded or someone else posts a pug builds everyone here hates on it. Anyway, it's become impossible to get any new build vetted here because there are always 1 or 2 douchebags who are gonna rate it 1-1 for some reason and you'll need a lot of 5-5's to compensate for that, which aren't here anymore. And things don't get easier when the build itself only deserves like a 4-4/4-3 rating.. Vorpal

"You can't have two triple shots, stupid." While ApplesaucePancakes behaviour has been inappropriate, this is also unacceptable. I know your consider your intellect to be superior to your peers and that you don't even consider this much of an accomplishment, but I suggest you gain some perspective. Just because someone doesn't realise you can't take both the Luxon and Kurzick version of an allegiance skill at the same time doesn't mean that they are stupid. All you had to do was link them to the relevant page on GWW and inform them of their mistake. This is the kind of behaviour I expect. If you can't be arsed to explain why they are wrong, you can tell them that they are wrong without calling them stupid. If you can't even bring yourself to do that, say nothing. That will prevent you from receiving administrative attention. A new misery 10:54, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Problem
Gotta turn this in for physics 2, and was thinking the PvX'ers might be interested in it. It made me feel smart and hopefully it will for you too!
You have a line charge that lies along the x axis from x = - 9.2 cm to x = +8.0 cm, and you want to find the electric potential on the y-axis at x = 0, y = 4.55 cm. The line charge density as a function of x is given by λ(x) = (800μC/m * x) / 0.172 m where x must be in m. Part (a) Draw a diagram of your version of the problem, and use it to set up the integral for V. Show your work clearly. Turn in this part of the problem, along with a printout of your version of the problem, at the start of class on the day this problem is due. You can also turn in your evaluation of the integral, but that part will not be graded. Part (b) Evaluate the integral to determine the electric potential at x = 0, y = 4.55 cm.
The answer is -0.443MV. Have fun! --Jai. - 07:10, January 26 2012 (UTC)

I keep the clock in the kitchen running 0.3 ms fast in a paltry attempt to encourage me to get to my own lectures on time. How fast and in what direction would a rocket have to be going so that, with respect to the rocket, the kitchen clock and the atomic clock in Greenwich are reading the same time? (The distance between Greenwich and my kitchen is 112 km.)

- We didn't do this shit in my ap physics class--Relyk 19:19, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
- This is college Physics, second semester. Also, looking back the problem isn't incredibly interesting, but probably the combination of getting it on my first try and it having been 2am at the time made me quite deliriously happy and compelled me to post it here. Also, for that problem, PewPew, I'm not really sure what type of problem that is. Are we talking just being "ahead" because of distance, the same way that Eastern time is ahead of Central time? Is the rocket's speed in relation to the earth or space? Is it talking more about the fact that time isn't actually constant (though that wouldn't seem to have an effect on the time difference)? Or is it simply asking how fast it'd have to be for the rocket to travel 112km in 0.3ms? The last option is horribly boring, and is actually physically impossible because it surpasses the speed of light (3.733*10^8). Also, is this physics 1, 2, or what? --Jai. - 04:34, January 27 2012 (UTC)
- It's a relativity question, so it's asking how fast would the rocket have to travel relative to the clocks for them to appear to be running the same due to the time dilation. (Greenwich is in the same time zone, so there's no worries there.) So you'd travel in the kitchen --> Greenwich direction with the velocity v, we require that t'=0, so you re-arrange the formula t'=γ(t-vx/c2) to get v=c2t/x, with x=112,000m and t=3*10-4s so the rocket needs to be travelling at 2.41*108m/s or 0.8c to get the dilation of 0.3ms, which is pretty fast for such a tiny change really. You don't need the altitude, because no matter how far away from the clocks you are the effect would still be the same. You wouldn't physically be able to read them, but you're in a rocket anyway so I don't think that's a particularly worrisome problem.
- Oh and it's part of my Motion + Relativity module at uni. Good fun. PewPew QQ 15:07, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
- Altitude would make a difference, but it depends how semantic you're being. Reason being the strength of gravity is different at different altitudes (they've proved this by having an atomic clock on earth and one up in an air plane and when they got them back together they'd fallen out of sync!) ~ PheNaxKian talk 15:30, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
- But the clocks are both on earth at the same altitude, and the fact it's a rocket is essentially irrelavent :< PewPew QQ 15:34, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
- you're not comparing the two earth clocks, you're comparing rocket to earth. i asked because we used to just assume altitude to be negligible compared to earth's radius, but the choice of 'rocket' over, say, 'pigeon' leaves room for some grav time dilation. anyway i'm glad you're enjoying the class. make friends with the tutors, they'll give you answers. i did when i worked as one during undergrad :P Fianchetto (User:Fianchetto) 16:16, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

I was kinda on the right track of the part with time not being constant, but I don't any more knowledge of that stuff than just a few tidbits I heard over time. - J-eye. Jay rhymes with gay, so I guess you're insecure and that's why you're asking. Soi Sticker (User:Soi Sticker) 04:19, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
- "Jay"goda just sounds wierd, that's all. It'd be like calling someone named Isaac as eh-sack. --Jai. - 04:36, February 24 2012 (UTC)
- If you wanted it to sound like Jaygoda, you wouldn't have spelled it Jaigoda.--Relyk 11:21, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

I actually vote wiped that build. Turns out I probably shouldn't have, but what's done is done. -- Toraen confer 08:34, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, that didn't show up in history for me and I saw nothing on the talk page except for people saying it didn't work in GvG/HA. I figured it was just another build from Wikia that never got any votes on it. I'll stay away from that build from now on. --Jai. - 12:46, February 24 2012 (UTC)

And I'll remove it once this pointless fucking shitfest between dual Illu and dual Dom goes away(Mis removed it). You're all being retards, and it's bringing good builds down in the process. --Jai. - 05:07, February 29 2012 (UTC)- carebear <3--Relyk 06:36, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

Wut. I was as careful as I could manage to not personally attack you or Alex, despite how oh-so-tempted I was to do so. I said you were fuckers, but no more than that. And if that's the worst you can handle, then you're in far worse shape here than I thought.Ups, forgot about my vote. Considering how much drama you've caused, you kinda deserve it, but nevertheless, I'll change it... --Jai. - 05:06, April 11 2012 (UTC)- I didn't cause any drama; you're the one who voted poorly. Did you ever get to reading Relyk's piece on AP Ele? Or have you realised you've made a mistake and ignoring all confrontation? ~Soi_ɹәʞɔ!ʇs 06:48, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- .... I had voted the build as good, which most will agree is what it deserves, and I didn't trash vote it until you started causing drama. In fact, nobody besides Rask would have bothered with trying to trash the build if you had just taken a chill pill and gotten on with your life. I've also told you this about 10 times now, and I'm obviously talking to a brick wall, so it's not like it matters. --Jai. - 11:12, April 13 2012 (UTC)
- Stop saying you're talking to a brick wall, it doesn't make arguing with you any harder/easier. There were always issues with that build, even when I was just lurking, there was this silly argument about it just being a discord caller... So there have always been troll votes. You also do realise, saying you *had* rated it Good, doesn't compensate for the fact you've 0-0'd it now. I'd like you to fix your rating based on a non-biased or "fed up" opinion, thanks. Let me just add by saying you are causing the drama currently by knowingly wrongly trashing a build and not expecting any consequences ~Soi_ɹәʞɔ!ʇs 17:43, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- "I didn't trash vote it until you started causing drama." - So you've changed overall rating of a build and therefore the perception of the build by people who visit this site just to get back at someone? Seems like the mature thing to do. Random Weird Guy (User:Random Weird Guy) 17:47, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- Soi, your logic is incredibly backward, and I don't care how hard/easy I'm making it to argue with me. But if you're going to continue running in circles, I'm not going to bother discussing with you. And no, I am trashing the build because I believe it is a trash build, not some ulterior motive that you seem to think I have, and I'm being 100% honest when I say that. In fact (and this is addressing Random Wierd Guy as well), I tried avoiding drama as long as possible by voting it good even when my reasoning implied it was a trash build because I knew, well, what has happened now would happen. I just didn't give a fuck enough to explain ad nauseum why it was a trash build, so I didn't bother trashing it in the first place.
- Listen, it's obvious you're not giving a shit what I'm saying, so unless you're willing to work with me here then I don't see any point continuing all of this. I've sent you an email through PvX with my IM. If you want to continue discussion there, I'll be on all of Sunday and other random times and I'll be willing to listen to what you have to say. If not, then I'll no longer be responding to anything related to the AP ele bin uild unless an admin calls my vote into question. --Jai. - 02:13, April 14 2012 (UTC)

I don't care if you leave it 0-0, but fix your dumb reasoning jai. Preferably something less trivial than how long it takes to cast a spell or complain about how you don't have enough time for serious discussion.--Relyk 20:01, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- It is a bit all over the place, yeah, though most of my reasoning is on the talk page. If an admin does want me to change my vote's reasoning, I will. Otherwise, you're probably right, but cba. --Jai. - 02:13, April 14 2012 (UTC)
Just wondering
In other parts of the US (and elsewhere), is Calc 2 widely considered the hardest out of all the calc classes? Almost everyone I know says that Calc 2 is a bitch and Calc 3 is easy in comparison. While I won't take Calc 3 until the fall, I didn't think 2 was hardly any harder than 1. Anyway, was just wanting to know if everybody thought this or if it's just the schools in my area. --Jai. - 03:24, April 14 2012 (UTC)
- Depends on what those courses cover. I can't remember where the cutoff was for me between Calc 1 and 2 (partly because I skipped calc1 in college due to my AP calc in high school), but 3 was basically just expanding the previous stuff to 3(+) dimensions. As long as you have a firm grounding in 1&2 you should be fine if that holds true. -- Toraen confer 03:27, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm not worried. I'm fine in math, but I just wanted to see whether things were different around the country/world. --Jai. - 03:30, April 14 2012 (UTC)
- 1 and 2 are building blocks, 2 being more difficult due to integrating having special cases. Everything else (calc 3, differential equations, etc.) just build on those foundations.--Jarad 03:40, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- Calc 4 was hardest for me, thrilled to get a D out of that class.Yoyoma (User:Yoyoma) 04:55, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- Calc 2 is pretty much integrating techniques, calc 3 is 3rd dimension along with other stuff. I don't know about calc 1 cause AP calc.--Relyk 06:02, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- I have a good friend who skipped AP Calc and just took Calc 2 in a college class. He said it was easy and was all about focusing on a certain topic I think. I'll talk to him later to find out. Vincent Evan [Air Henchman]
