Normal mode

This gives about 14k per hour which works out to 4 days of afk play. Just walk away and its all auto. One could use scrolls and reduce that to 32 hours --The preceding comment was added by () at 18:35, 12 January 2012 (UTC).

I forgot to mention that this is for hard mode where you get ~295k exp/h with scrolls, roughly 4.5 hours of afk-ing. 21:37, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

May i ask how you get 3 mesmers heros? There are only 2 (Gwen and Norgu) Could you work around this? Maybe Rit/Mes? --The preceding comment was added by () at 11:08, 25 January 2012 (UTC).

Perhaps you've been out of the loop for a while... once you have the hero "Razah", you can go to the Isle of the Nameless or the Command Post and switch his primary profession to anything you see fit. In this case, Tlam has chosen to switch Razah to a mesmer primary. I don't recall the particulars, but i think you may lose any ritualist runes and insignias you had on Razah when you change him. 11:40, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
How is the hero going to have 18 protection prayers? I can get it up to 17 using +3+1 runes and +1 from staff. Candy Corn doesn't affect heroes.-- 02:27, 8 February 2012 (UTC) Orestis
You should use a Grail of Might, that'll give you the extra point needed. 13:51, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Aggro

It seems like my mesmer keep getting the aggro no matter how I place them. --The preceding comment was added by () at 01:31, 6 February 2012 (UTC).

Same here, I just get to the second group, then an enemy sees the mesmers, kills them, and everything screws up. Any ideas? 13:49, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Superior Vigor Runes

Do they all require superior vigor runes or will it be doable with just hp + 30? --The preceding comment was added by () at 06:03, 9 February 2012 (UTC).

Vigors don't tend to matter after you hit Major vigors, they're perfectly good enough for heroes. Heck I run around in hard mode without any vigors at all :p 19:37, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Think what you might be doing wrong is that you placed the player in the wrong spot. The right position is important since a body block is working best wenn almost allowing units to sneak past your side towards the hill. Besides, be sure to have no heros using martial weappons and place them as shown in the pics as well 22:49, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Have to try this out

Just finished setup; waiting to find out results. First problem: Beserker scroll al most ran out. Survived that, now seems to be going well :D -- 22:12, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

I came back with r2 and death. Looks like bonders failed me. -- 00:13, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Third try worked like a charm; I de-equipped my bonder's caster sword and bought near-starter-level armour and this time was all clear :D -- 07:28, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Leniency

I've begun attempting this setup, but the cost of some of the specific bits of equipment are problematic. I can set myself up just find, but what of the heroes? -Must- they have the exact equipment outlines here? My alliance stated they succeeded with mostly unruned heroes, but I don't want to spend all this money just to fail. Trying to get all the bases covered before I attempt.-- 01:11, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

iirc, you only need cons, the +1/x% Prot offhand, and caster weapons for heroes. stuff like sup vig isn't absolutely needed ♟ 16:56, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Do you have a ballpark price range? How much would it cost me to set up?-- 01:14, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
Let me think... Weapons 12k + scrolls 1.6k(with backup) + Grail 2k + runes and stuff 5kish = 20.6k. This still seems cheaper to do then any other style of LS farming. It only gets cheaper if you have stuff in your inventory and well worth the investment imo. -- 12:16, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
That doesn't sound too unreasonable. Now I just have to use my brain and figure everything else out :/-- 14:00, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Armour rating

Can you explain why is needed a low armour rating on the player? It isn't used Spirit Bond to heal, the damage is reduced no matter your AL using bonds. Sorry for the probably noob question. 07:16, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Because it's cheaper. -- 07:46, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
Enemy A.I. prefers to attack the 'squishiest' target, by having low armour (and health) you become their target of choice. This encourages them to ball on you allowing for more efficient AoE damage. 13:40, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
