This build has been designed for the following use:

This build uses Vow of Strength, Sand Shards, and Eremite's Attack to quickly farm ectos in the Underworld from Smite Crawlers. Run takes around 6 to 8 min to reach and clear the Wastes.

Attributes and Skills

Template code

  • Optional Optional 1 & 2:
    • Intimidating Aura Intimidating Aura to reduce damage overall
    • Mirage Cloak Mirage Cloak to reduce damage overall and avoid interruption
    • Physical Resistance Physical Resistance to reduce damage overall
    • Shadow Sanctuary Shadow Sanctuary (Kurzick)
    • Drunken Master Drunken Master can be used instead of Fleeting Stability to speed up run, requires alcohol to use.
    • Feel No Pain Feel No Pain can be used instead of Mystic Regeneration and for more health.
  • Optional Optional 3:
    • Staggering Force Staggering Force to kill faster and provide teardown for Eremite's Attack.
    • Heart of Fury Heart of Fury to kill groups faster.
    • Whirlwind Attack Whirlwind Attack for a second trigger of VoS.


  • Windwalker insignias
  • Zealous Scythe of Enchanting
  • Longbow for pulls.
  • A defensive set for balling and running.


  • Precast Sand Shards before aggroing groups.
  • Use Vow of Strength->Sand Shards->Fleeting Stability->Eremite's Attack to spike groups.
  • Spam Sand Shards and auto-attack until everything is dead.


  • Take the quest Clear the Chambers.
  • To pull Grasps, aggro the group and use Fleeting Stability to break aggro from the Aatxes.
  • Wait for the group to the right to come and ball them near the center.
  • Cast Vow of Strength early to avoid getting interrupted and spike the group down.
  • Pull the other two groups individually or together and repeat.
  • Run to Wastes using Fleeting Stability. Use Mystic Regeneration or Sand Shards as fodder for Nightmares to avoid getting it stripped.


  • Ball 1-4 groups of Smite Crawlers at once depending on the patrols.
  • Spike them down and continue to the next group.
  • If the ball is large enough, they will die quickly. Small groups are more likely to use Shield of Judgment before killing them.
  • Watch out for strips from Nightmares, they will die in a couple hits. If you took Mirage Cloak the Earth damage will kill them one hit.
  • Use a longbow to pull Smites below the cliff if you can't pull them.


  • Lag/Getting stuck
  • Aggroing Bladed Aatxes
  • Getting stripped by Dying Nightmares
  • Aggroing Coldfires


  • Mystic Vigor instead of Mystic Regeneration
  • Shadow Sanctuary instead of Mystic Regeneration
