Energy denial mesmer for random arenas.

Attributes and Skills

Template code

  • Elite skill choices
    • Energy Drain Energy Drain – general energy denial.
    • Power Leech Power Leech – lineback the opposing midline.
    • "You're All Alone!" "You're All Alone!" – lineback physicals.
    • "It's Just a Flesh Wound." "It's Just a Flesh Wound." – in a condition heavy meta.
    • Empathic Removal Empathic Removal – in a hex heavy meta.
  • Variants
    • Spirit Shackles Spirit Shackles – over Conjure Nightmare. Lineback attacking characters. Decrease illusion magic to 6+1.
    • Soothing Images Soothing Images – over conjure nightmare. Lineback warriors. Decrease illusion magic to 6+1.
    • Ether Feast Ether Feast – over Signet of Humility with a non-mesmer elite skill. Drain additional energy from your target and heal yourself.


Runes and insignias



  • Spread degeneration with Conjure Nightmare.
  • Apply Ether Lord on your target, cover it with Ether Phantom. Wait until the opponent switches to his casting or high energy set, then use Drain Delusions.
    • Switch to your low energy set before using ether lord.
  • Protect yourself with Distortion. Only use it to prevent spikes or break chains, else your energy will be drained too much.
  • Disable relevant elite skills with Signet of Humility.


  • Dervish healers.
