General
  • Holy Veil Holy Veil – over Reverse Hex for better energy management and pre-veiling.
  • Shield of Absorption Shield of Absorption – over Shielding Hands in game modes where a single target will be targeted for an extended period of time, especially fort aspenwood.

  • 40/20/20 protection prayers.
  • Spear of enchanting, +5 energy, protection prayers focus of fortitude, +15/-1 energy.
  • Spear of defense, 10%hct with
    • Strength shield of fortitude, -20% cripple duration.
    • Strength shields of fortitude, +10 armor against each damage type.
  • Low energy shield set.

Usage

  • Catch spikes with Aegis (PvP), Spirit Bond (PvP) or Aura of Faith.
  • Remove harmful conditions and heal allies with conditions on them with Restore Condition, Life Sheath or Dismiss Condition.
  • Remove troublesome hexes like Lightning Surge with Reverse Hex or Holy Veil.
    • You can pre-veil targets to remove hexes more quickly and slow down the applying of additional hexes.
  • Prevent knockdowns with Aura of Stability.
  • Reduce the damage from many small damage packets with Shielding Hands, especially from dervishes.
  • Protect allies from physical attacks with Guardian.
  • Use Dash as a general speedboost and for kiting frontliners.
