  • Decrease Healing Prayers to 11 and Protection Prayers to 0. Increase Tactics to 10.

  • Signet of Rejuvenation Signet of Rejuvenation on attacking/casting allies and/or to counter energy denial.

  • Spotless Mind Spotless Mind to keep your team clean from hexes, can be precast before battle. Use on your enchanting staff when suffering from weakness.

  • Bonetti's Defense Bonetti's Defense to block attacks and gain energy, also works to prevent a ranger interrupt on one of your skills.

  • Vigorous Spirit Vigorous Spirit is a common variant, which takes the place of Signet of Rejuvenation Signet of Rejuvenation. Consider Contemplation of Purity Contemplation of Purity instead of Cure Hex Cure Hex.
  • Guardian Guardian or Shielding Hands Shielding Hands if you feel the need for a prot.
  • Protector's Defense Protector's Defense in favor of Balanced Stance Balanced Stance if you want more/on demand block.
  • Dolyak Signet Dolyak Signet and/or Shield Bash Shield Bash for alternative anti-KD/block.
  • Purge Conditions Purge Conditions or Mending Touch Mending Touch in place of Spotless Mind Spotless Mind for hex-light metas.
  • Holy Veil Holy Veil.
  • Dark Escape Dark Escape and Return Return. Change attributes to 11+1 Divine Favor and 6 Shadow Arts and change spear mods to Crippling.


  • Q7/15AL shields are recommended because Weakness will reduce all attributes by 1. However, these shields can be expensive and difficult to obtain. A Q8/15AL or Q8/16AL is sufficient for most situations and aren't too difficult to find. If you must use a stock PvP character, drop a point in Divine Favor for Tactics.
