If no low requirement Tactics shields are available for use, reduce Command to 3 and Motivation to 1 to free up enough attribute points to raise Tactics to 9.

Equipment

Armor

  • 5x Centurion's Insignia
  • Superior Vigor
  • Minor Spear
  • Minor Leadership
  • Restoration or Vitae or Minor Motivation/Command
  • Clarity or Vitae or Minor Motivation/Command

Weapons

  • Vampiric Spear of Defense, 15^50
  • Tactics Shield of Fortitude, -20% blind/cripple (preferably requirement 8 or less)

Usage

  • Use Flesh Wound to clean conditions that monks might not bother with removing. Flesh Wound should handle every instance of Poison and Bleeding, as well as Cripple/Blind on physicals (faster than Draw Conditions). Do not remove Deep Wounds if your team is still running Restore Conditions as a monk elite.
  • Use To the Limit! to maintain Aggressive Refrain. (With 9 Tactics, care will need to be taken to wait for To the Limit! to end before reapplying, since duration will be longer than recharge, and refreshing duration will not maintain Aggressive Refrain.)
  • Use Watch Yourself! as often as possible.
  • Spike assist with spear attacks, or call midline spikes when Go for the Eyes! and Vicious Attack are both available.

Counters

  • anti-physical hexes
  • blind
  • Diversion on Flesh Wound
