This build has been designed for the following use:

Spam high-energy, high-recharge binding rituals for party protection, use Assassin's Promise to recharge them and regain energy. This variant on the common Soul Twisting Ritualist trades ease-of-use for better uptime on incredibly short-lived spirits like Displacement.

Attributes and Skills

Template code

Optional Optional
  • Armor of Unfeeling Armor of Unfeeling to increase spirit lifespan
  • Restoration Restoration for frequent party resurrection, allows monk to replace rez skill.
  • Dissonance Dissonance to disrupt, best placed near casters after skirmish starts
  • Disenchantment Disenchantment same as Dissonance
  • Earthbind Earthbind in knockdown-heavy teams or areas with normally KD immune foes.
  • Feast of Souls Feast of Souls for party heal. Use this only with full energy and two rituals recharged.
  • Shadow Sanctuary Shadow Sanctuary (Kurzick) for melee defense.
  • Summon Ice Imp Summon Ice Imp for AoE snaring.
  • Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support deals good damage and a knockdown to help ensure AP triggers.
  • "Finish Him!" "Finish Him!" instant cast, and nearly guarantees an AP kill if used correctly.
  • Any useful and high-energy or high-recharge PvE-only skills

  • Keep up Boon of Creation outside of battle.
  • Approach mob, set up Shelter and Union, or if heavy melee, Displacement and one of the other spirits.
  • If using Armor of Unfeeling, activate after first 2 spirits.
  • Call a target, once party focuses in and gets it to ~60% health, use Assassin's Promise.
  • Monitor spirit health to see when to replace.
  • Monitor called target's health to decide when to use Assassin's Promise. Better to hex too late and miss it than have the hex die before your target does. Assassin's Promise has a 45-second recharge.

  • Hex removal on Assassin's Promise
  • AoE on clustered spirits (use Summon Spirits to avoid)
