This build has been designed for the following use:

Ritualist healer for use in teams with martial players. Ideally combined with a Soul Twisting or monk prot.

  • Elite skill
    • Spirit Channeling Spirit Channeling allows you to use your spells on recharge.
    • Empathic Removal Empathic Removal in hex heavy areas.
  • Single target care
    • Wielder's Boon Wielder's Boon for a quick heal on targets supported with weapon spells.
    • Spirit Transfer Spirit Transfer for a quick power heal.
    • Weapon of Shadow Weapon of Shadow to shut down physicals.
  • Party healing
    • Protective was Kaolai Protective Was Kaolai for planned party healing.
    • Breath of the Great Dwarf Breath of the Great Dwarf for reactive party healing or against Searing Flames.
    • Spirit to Flesh Spirit to Flesh Spirit to Flesh if you know that your team will be balling.
  • Spirits (pick at least one)
    • Vampirism Vampirism if barely any healing is needed.
    • Rejuvenation Rejuvenation for constant party healing.
    • Recuperation Recuperation for more reliable constant healing on all allies in spirit range. Only with Spirit Channeling.
    • Life Life for large healing on all allies in spirit range every 20 seconds.
    • Recovery Recovery as a counter against conditions in condition heavy areas or areas with blind condition.

Use

Weapon Sets:

  • Cast enchantments using your 40/20/20 staff.
  • Cast restoration magic spells in your 40/40 set.
  • Switch to your high energy set when needed.
  • Switch to your shield set when idle or under attack.

Skills:

  • Remove nasty or dangerous hexes with Empathic Removal, Remove Hex or Holy Veil.
    • Apply holy veil before combat to slow down hex casting and remove a hex immediately without triggering the skill's recharge time.
  • Use Weapon of Shadow on targets which get attacked by martial opponents.
  • Apply Selfless Spirit (Kurzick) when you anticipate large pressure.
  • Use Spirit Channeling when you're in need of the energy.
  • Heal targets with Mend Body and Soul, Spirit Light, Wielder's Boon or Spirit Transfer as appropriate.
    • Prefer to use mend body and soul on targets which suffer from conditions, cleansing them as a side effect.
    • Use wielder's boon only on targets affected by a weapon spell.
    • Use spirit transfer only if a powerful quick heal is needed.
    • Cast Protective Was Kaolai before combat if you anticipate AoE damage so you can heal your team twice.
  • Place your spirit or spirits offset to avoid that they get hit by AoE damage.
  • Support all martial team members with Great Dwarf Weapon and renew it when needed.
    • The additional damage and plenty of knockdowns can largely reduce incoming damage if your team members adequately chose their targets.

Counters

  • Spirit being killed and no other party member providing a new one.
  • Frequent enchantment removal.
  • No martial players in the team.
