This build has been designed for the following use:

This spirit spam build supports the team with the focused armor-ignoring damage and defensive power of spirits. It takes advantage of the Kurzick/Luxon skill Summon Spirits to move around your spirits and keep them alive. Painful Bond allows spirits to take down foes in a matter of seconds.

Other professions can offensively Spirit spam quite easily. Rangers, Elementalists and Necromancers can drop Communing to 10 and invest 8+1+1 points into their primary attribute. Warriors and Paragons are advised to use Radiant Insignias and/or a high energy staff.

  • Survivor or Shaman's Insignias on your armor.
  • A high HP staff or weapon set such as a Deldrimor Staff.


  • Summon all your spirits except Anguish prior to battle. They last much longer than their recharge.
  • You can either use the spirits for a spirit wall to take aggro from your group or pull enemies into spirit range.
  • If you use your spirits as a wall, they will take the brunt of the damage and act as a buffer similar to a minion wall. Spread your spirits out in a line or an arc and pull groups into the spirits. Enemies prioritize attacking spirits because of their low health.
  • Use Summon Spirits to move spirits out of AoE attacks such as Savannah Heat and provide a small heal to keep them alive. This also allows you to keep your spirits mobile and carry them between battles.
  • Maintain Painful Bond on enemies to increase damage output. Spirits prioritize attacks on uncalled targets with the lowest health.
  • Use Spirit Siphon to manage energy.


  • AoE damage on your spirits due to balling.
  • Anti-summoned creature skills that can kill your spirits quickly. (Banish, Consume Soul, Spiritual Pain, etc.)



  • Spirits can attack at longbow range.
  • This build has an apparent 160 DPS assuming Painful Bond is used and all spirits attack foes hexed with Painful Bond.
  • Spirits have a tendency to attack the same first enemy that comes in range, use this to your advantage when pulling groups.
