Notes on the team composition

[A] Make sure that:

  • You have a total of 5 recalls.
  • You have a couple of knock down sources. Three easily applicable knock downs are required for smooth progress, having more is recommended.
  • Two characters have both "You Move Like a Dwarf!" and Recall for Kanaxai.

[B] Further recommendations:

  • Unless you have an experienced backline it's recommended to bring one defensive character among the damage dealers. Defensive characters are:
  • Panic player or hero.
  • Ineptitude player or hero with Arcane Conundrum.
  • Any ranged character reliably providing "Save Yourselves!".
  • The ideal damage build is the energy surge mesmer. If players don't have build preferences, they should go for this one. It is effective, easy to play and has room for "You Move Like a Dwarf!" aswell as Recall. Large quantities of this build guarantee fast and stable runs.
  • Some of the damage dealer builds should only be used by one player in the team. This is noted in these builds' usage sections.

Blood is Power (Pick 1)

Note: It is recommended that position 1 (BiP) is played by a hero, as the player builds aren't much fun and a player can't see other players' energy level.
Note: If using the recommended healer hero build, the party position 3, second healer, can be replaced with a damage dealer.

UA Healer (Pick 1)

Second Healer (Pick 1)

Note: If your BiP is playing a healer build another healer won't be required. You can bring a damage dealer instead.

Party Protection (Pick 1)
