Farmable Foes[]

You should list some areas for this farming build. --Krschkr (talk) 21:37, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

yep, will do after further testing Jilonor (talk) 23:08, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

Main bar attributes[]

There shouldn't be illusion magic unless fragility was added to the main bar. --Krschkr (talk) 15:05, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

Fixed. Was a leftover from the major edit when fragility was made an option. Typhloman (talk) 15:18, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

Health management[]

Health management should be optional. To me it is really not needed except for countering degeneration. Damages should not go over stoneflesh aura reduction anyway. Only gates of kryta farm and potentially Hydras would require it --Jilonor (talk) 14:01, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

Armor of earth[]

Should it be in the main bar? I think it might not be needed for most NM farms. Using stone striker with geomancer insignias and earth shield will add +38 armor already. Maybe stone striker + mantra of earth should be on the main bar? it would also solve the mixed damages source. exemple: Dragon Moss doing mixed water and lightning damages. --Jilonor (talk) 14:15, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

another farm[]

  • NM farm: Cave trolls farming outside of droknar forge might be worth mentionning. works only in NM though. ancestor visage to counter adrenaline gain and rupts works great.
  • NM farm: from Tihark orchard. exit to forum highlands and then talk to the NPC (seborhin protector zuor) to enter garden of seborhin. There are 4 groups of plants patrolling (12 * enchanted brambles + 2 * whisling brambles). ball them all up and spike. dont aggro beetles or djinn groups. you can farm fibers this way aswell as glittering dust. recycling sentien spores, bows and sword is worth it also. build : OgVEE6YJz1MBWCpusxXFsaCKFA

--Jilonor (talk) 14:01, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

Don't you want to add them to the build page? Few people are going to find the locations on the talk page. --Krschkr (talk) 10:19, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

Intensity and shockwave[]

it seems quite worthless even as an optional. correct me if I am wrong but I think it will only boost 1/3 (63) of shockwave damages and not the overall damages. Crystal wave is armor ignoring so it would not be considered as elemental damages, hence it would not increase its damages. EBSoH would be a better pick (it would add only 90 dmg on a spike tho) --Jilonor (talk) 14:25, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

Since crystal wave deals typeless armour ignoring damage it won't trigger intensity. (Other than magnetic surge, which is armour ignoring earth damage and will trigger intensity.) When combined with shockwave it will only trigger on the first damage packet, not the total damage. So it seems right when you say that intensity won't be doing a lot, just 2*(0.7*[shockwave damage]), so in case of 60 armour targets +88 points of AoE damage against all targets but one and in case of higher armour levels decisively less. In case of 60 armour targets that makes intensity look actually better than the standard, since it adds almost the same damage, but without a casting time. --Krschkr (talk) 15:58, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

Minotaurs[]

They can be farmed in HM too. As long as you hit the second Shockwave into their Healing Signet, they'll die. I used Mental Block, Earth Attunement and Fragility as optionals but the first 2 can be swapped for other things that help with sustain and energy management. --DefinitelyNotHanz (talk) 14:44, 19 June 2019 (UTC)

Variantbars[]

Do we want a {{Variantbar}} for each farming area? --Krschkr (talk) 00:16, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Dragon Moss[]

Dragon Moss does not need Earth Striker + Mantra of Earth, Mantra of Lightning is enough to make you not take any damage (using a +10cold shield). This creates an opportunity to add another damage skill, making the farm faster. I dropped Fragility and went EBSoH + Churning Earth, which barely kills them in one combo, instead of having to wait for shockwave to recharge. Churning Earth is nice for this (and maybe for other camps too, I haven't tested those) since the scatter knocks them down in HM, getting the full AoE damage everytime you cast it. This also skips the need to right-wall ball your mobs (at least on Dragon Moss). --Rainemard (talk) 10:21, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Usefulness of the Hydra NM farm[]

Since the 330 farmer can also farm the Hydras but in HM, and considering there is no benefit whatsoever to farming Hydras in NM and having a specific build for it, this farm should not be on the page. Feydslynox (talk) 12:39, 18 September 2021 (UTC)

Removed it from the page. There is no point in having the Hydra farm listed on this page in NM. Tested it, and it is not profitable (a waste of time, really) and furthermore a mechanically similar build of the same profession can do the exact same farm, but in HM.
