EOTN Title Specific Skills

The 50 EOTN PvE Title Track based skills don't work when trying to create a build. Currently, I have left them as optional and inserted a comment underneath which says about the skills. ---Andyhhp

Auto set primary attributes@0

It would be nice if PvXcode would assume values for all attributes (or at least primary ones) to be set to 0 unless otherwise stated. If time's an issue, though, ignore this and work on things like PvXsmall and PvXmicro. -- Armond WarbladeArmond sig image.png{{sysop}} 16:40, 2 August 2007 (CEST)

Speaking as a programmer, there are some things you'd have to watch with that:
  • A) You don't want it to do that for title-specific skills.
  • B) Builds that don't have any attributes listed should probably show the whole range, that might be a bigger issue with pvxsmall/micro, cause the whole point of using those is to take up less room and leaving out the attribs accomplishes that pretty well.
  • C) Just displaying single skills outside of builds (just <pvxbig>[Shock]</pvxwiki>, for example) should show the whole range.
And yes, having it do that would be nice. I keep having to go around putting @0's in glyph of lesser energy's. --Wizardboy777 01:15, 21 September 2007 (CEST)

Profession links in PvXBig

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when you click on the profession header of a PvX bar, it takes you to an official wiki site. For illustration, clicking on either 'Elementalist' or 'Assassin' takes you to the official wiki, while clicking on the skills and attributes themselves takes you to GWiki.

Template code

PvXDecode does not create a downloadable build template

Template code

Yeah, I don't know why it doesn't work. Bbcode is supposed to give a template code even with blank slots (see this build, has a blank spot yet the bbcode gives you a template). I guess that's something we'll have to look in to? -Auron 02:21, 5 October 2007 (CEST)

Imo when you put 2 optional skills you just have 2 skills with the same name ("Optional") wich is not accepted. Exemple :

Deleting pages

I had a thought (oh o that's never a good sign...) would it be at all possiable to make it so that normal users can delete pages BUT they can only delete pages that have expired their 2 week trash period thing (basiclly been in trash longer than 2 weeks), this way it means the site can be better maintained and admins don't have to worry about doing that kind of grunt work so to speak.PheNaxKian (T/c)Tag thumb.jpg 22:55, 29 September 2007 (CEST)

Trial Build Page

Resolved. There were actually three pages. Two were caused by the users adding the PvE/PvP category templates, which automatically generate the page onto the Trial list. Cool idea i think

PvE Attributes Counter

Someone hasn't clsoed PvXBig tags, had this problem before(see resolved issues and Team GvG or something like that), think an admin needs to do it (not sure how you edit it when it's like that....), but seen as the issues arised again, can i direct this more at GC or Hippo-could it be made possiable not to save a page unless all Pvxbig tags are closed to prevent this happening again? template.php Bug

The script to save the builds has a bug. Some build templates have a '+' in it, like Archive:R/any PvP Magebane Shot. The problem with this is that the + is a url escape character for a ' ' space, so the script returns a file with a ' ' where a '+' should be. Fixing this is easy, just urlencode($template) before you write back the file. THC4k 07:22, 21 February 2008 (EST)

Just a thought, but we might want to make sure you can't insert a style sheet into any pages here. If I wanted to wreak havoc myself, I'd make a 5mil char style sheet and insert it into a few dozen pages at once on here. I mean, that's how they trash most servers nowadays when not wanting to go internal. I haven't tried anything with stylesheets, but we should really make sure that that wouldn't be possible. Sacrifice as cost

I think I've figured out how to do this. On Guildwiki, I have a short version that just inserts the actual pvxcode part, but I could probably get the whole thing in there and then put that code into MediaWiki:Common.js. Test out the short version by going to Special:Mypage/monobook.js on GuildWiki and pasting the code from mine in (you may have to clear your cache) which should add another button to the end of your editing toolbar that will add the pvxcode template in. ¬ Wizårdbõÿ777(sysop) 17:07, 16 April 2008 (EDT)

Well this Wiki uses historic Skill Data (Back from March 2008) which was way before the Splitting and therefore a skill doesnt need to have been changed recently in order to be displayed wrong here. And thats not the only issue here 07:58, 29 June 2008 (EDT)

Chilling Victory

Missing Build

Erm, not sure if anyone has noticed, but while I was setting up my competition, I noticed no A/P builds, I am certain there was a Dark Apostasy Spear build vetted on the wiki, it was in Other, but I thought it may have been archived, but not there, does anyone have any light on such an issue, of builds just dissapearing, it was similiar to this User:Saint/Build:A/P_Spear_Of_Disenchantment Frosty No U! 14:38, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

I think it was slowly unfavoured, although it should have been archived. It used Remedy Signet instead of Assassin's Remedy (which was a bad choice) and something else instead of Wearying Strike. ــмıкεнaшк 14:42, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

It was Build:A/P_Crit_Spear_Disenchanter. It had been in the Other or Good category, then a couple people rated it down to have it trashed. I'm pretty sure we only archive Good and Great builds, though, so it was deleted as it should have been. That contest version would be an improvement, though. =P ــмıкεнaшк 21:44, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

I assume this is PvXbig (and thus pvxcode) related at least. The PvXbig template seems to have...stopped working? the topic above shows what i mean. There's no longer any skill icons or descriptions, but a list with some links. Apparently the image server containing the images in the pvxbig code is faulty; I couldn't access many of the images. Some DO work at the moment, likeWounding Strike and Resurrection Signet. Others include critical eye and some other random skills. /nosey152.226.7.213 23:00, 17 November 2008 (EST)
