This Team Build (under construction) works under a combination of Mark of Pain and Cry of Pain. Before you say, I know MoP doesn't activate CoP, but they work well alongside each other. Simply put, this takes some relatively generic builds, helps them slip into something more comfortable before ripping it off and making sweet love until the enemy explodes.

  • Ether Nightmare Ether Nightmare should be taken instead of Mind Wrack by one of the three Mop Cops if some more efficient variation is wanted (it should be)

Usage[]

  • Keep Mind Wrack on foes and spam Cry of Pain and Necrosis.
  • Barbs and Mark of Pain are to be cast as cover hexes and will cause much benefit to your team's minions and arrows.
  • Echo is primarily for Cry of Pain but is also viable for extra casting of Barbs and mark of Pain.
  • Cast Signet of Lost Souls on foes with less than half hp as often as is possible to regain health and energy.
  • Resurrect with Resurrection Signet.

  • You could take Withering Aura Withering Aura instead of Rotting Flesh for a cheaper and more reliable condition spreader but without the degen.
  • Another option could be to take Web of Disruption Web of Disruption for extra interrupts and is also a covering mesmer hex that doesn't need any points specced in, which could be useful when the other hexes get raped.
  • Speccing 8 into domination magic (taking soul reaping down to 10+1) and taking Mistrust Mistrust could come in very useful, or alternatively for a more spammable hex spell with higher damage but only focussed on a single target, Wastrel's Worry Wastrel's Worry

Usage[]

  • Cast Aura of the Lich for minions. The more corpses around the better, but it's worth remembering that it can summon a minion at a time without a corpse, so casting it in times without enemies is a good idea.
  • Spam Cry of Pain and Necrosis to back up your team.
  • Use Blood of the Master to heal your minions when needed.
  • Rotting Flesh is for spreading disease across the enemies, useful for keeping up the spam of Necrosis.
  • Keep Death Nova on your minions so that when they die they will deal instant damage to your foes and spread poison.
  • Use Signet of Lost Souls as often as possible to recover health and energy.
  • Resurrect with Resurrection Signet.
