Mini adventure races are like "Navigate from point A to point B on your topographical map and then complete objective 1." and so on. They're actually pretty physically challenging and exhausting. This one was only 20 miles, but most of them are several hundred miles and take 3-4 days. Oh, and you can't bring food or water. You have to "survive". Karate Jesus 23:26, 3 January 2010

Alright then:

1. First, you'll need to suck the dick of Joe Kimmes. That shouldn't be too big of an issue as he's pretty cool and used to it.
2. Then, you'll need to suck the dicks of the support team, seeing as we're apparently not getting a skill update until all the support shit is worked out. I can't see this taking long, considering that the support is slow as hell, there has to be only like two 90 year old women and a monkey in there.
3. Next, you'll need to suck the dicks of every Test Krewe member. Apparently, one of the reasons this thing is held up is because every one of those fuckers has never been laid. However, that may be beneficial to you as they'll probably all blow their collective loads early.
4. Now you'll have a challenge. Linsey. You need to suck her dick, and it wont be easy as it's well guarded, and not by fat rolls or any other God-made design. It's guarded by sheer incompetence. Basically, she misplaced her dick. So, you'll have to go on a long, arduous journey to recover her dick and then suck it.
5. Finally, you'll face your greatest task - sucking Regina's dicks. That's right, I said dicks. Regina has over 9,000 dicks, each one inserted deeply into a normal GW player's anus. You'll have to travel across this land, relieving the dicks from the players' anuses, and then promptly and swiftly sucking off each one. The worst part is that, just like everything else that comes out of Regina, she cums bullshit. So, you'll have to suck and swallow more bullshit than any man has ever proven himself able to do.

All the stuff I can find online says to try switching to another disk a few minutes before the cutscene and then switch back after. Other than that, all you can do is clean the disk or buy a new one. solution - torrent game, download whatever you need from http://www.qhimm.com/ (most notably the chocobo crash patch, although a save file editor makes grinding for max materia take less long), and have a blast. fuck consoles.

I never played X-2. Was the gameplay even worth playing? I heard "action RPG" and said....nah, I'm good. However, I played pretty much every other one (except XI because of the online fee), so maybe I should have picked it up. FFX-2 was amazing. "Action RPG" is a little extreme. It's based off of the normal turn-based system but instead of it being strictly "your turn, my turn," Yuna, Rikku and Payne start their next action after their warm-up bar fills. Skills and special attacks also have warm-up times. It's hard to explain. Just youtube it. It was a really good game, though. 04:28, 15 January 2010
